PG admission without NEET

Finally, it is a relief to know that NEET-PG non-qualified students can also pursue their dream of further studies.

Doctors who did not qualify in the NEET Examination and are eager for PG admission can now apply with us for PG admission without NEET. They can graduate from renowned institutions in Nepal. These institutions are approved by National Medical Commission.

Institutions offering MD/MS Admission without NEET in Nepal:-

• B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan
• Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu

MD/MS admission in Nepal is conducted through Medical Education Commission Entrance Examination (MECEE).

To pursue Medical Studies in Nepal, Indian students must take the MECEE examination. It is a computer-based exam. The exam paper contains 200 multiple-choice questions. The duration of this exam is 3 hours. Every year, the exam is held.

B.P.KOIRALA MEDICAL COLLEGE, commonly known as BPKIHS, situated in Dharan(Nepal) was established in 1993.

In honor of Nepal's late prime minister Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, the college is named after him.

 

• Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu

IOM, Kathmandu was established in the year 1972 under Tribhuvan University.

Prior to now, admissions to Post Graduate programs were solely based on the results of the IOM Tribhuvan University entrance examination. However, now they are based strictly on MEC entrance examination results.
