1. Radiology (D.M.R.E) Diploma In Medical Radio Diagnosis
Eligibility:-   Minimum Qualification : XII

Eligibility:
    The candidate must have passed MBBS examination from any Medical College recognised by Medical Council of India.
    The candidates should possess a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in India or Medical Council of India. If he does not have the same he will be required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the P. G. course, failing which, his /her admission to the P. G. The course will be cancelled.
  The candidate must be an Indian National.

The candidate must have completed the compulsory rotating internship have to produce completion certificate before joining the course.

Radiology is a medical Specialty that uses imaging to diagnose and treat diseases seen within the body. Radiologists use a variety of imaging techniques such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, including positron emission tomography (PET), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose and/or treat diseases. Interventional radiology is the performance of (usually minimally invasive) medical procedures with the guidance of imaging technologies.

A paediatrician is a child's physician who provides:
    Preventive health maintenance for healthy children.
    Medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill.

Pediatricians manage the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their patients, in every stage of development -- in good health or in illness.
Generally, paediatricians focus on babies, children, adolescents, and young adults from birth to age 21 years to:
    reduce infant and child mortality
    control infectious disease
    foster healthy lifestyles
    ease the difficulties of children and adolescents with chronic conditions

3. MD Obstetrics & gynaecology

What’s the difference between gynaecology and obstetrics?

Gynaecology normally means treating women who aren’t pregnant, while obstetrics deals with pregnant women and their unborn children, but there is lots of crossover between the two. For example, women may be referred to gynaecologists in the earlier stages of pregnancy, and obstetricians later in their term.
To grow as a gynaecologist one must opt for 2 years of super Specialty program or 2 years of residence, program after studying 4 years in a medical college. The course offers in-depth knowledge regarding gynaecology. Programs could be taken up at degree level. During the last 2 years of MBBS program, a student can have exposure in this field.
4. M.D in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy
M.D in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy stands for Doctor of medicine in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. This is usually a 2 year course. The minimum eligibility is a Bachelor degree in Medicine or MBBS. The MD degree is a higher postgraduate degree, representative of Specialty training.The course encompasses various subjects like Basic pathological reactions of the skin, Biology & Development of skin genetics in relation to skin the structure and development of skin, Basic Dermatopathology ,Immunology of dermatological disease, Cellular and molecular biology of inflammation, repair & carcinogenesis. 5. MD Psychiatry
M.D.(Psychiatry)- Stands for Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry. Typically, M.D.(Psychiatry) is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an M.B.B.S with 1 year compulsory internship. Psychology studies the human behavior. Subjects studied under this degree are Psychology, Biology, Learning Theories, Information Processing - Brain Models of Mind, Experimental Animal Research and Implications for Mental Disorders and Clinical Psychiatry.
The duration for master's degree and post graduate diploma course is 2 years.

6. MD Anesthesiology
M.D.(Anaesthesia)- Stands for Doctor of Medicine in Anaesthesia. Typically, M.D.(Anaesthesia) is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an M.B.B.S with 1 year compulsory internship. Anaesthesiology focuses on utilization of drugs that minimize pain by causing insensibility. Under this degree, students learn about areas such as ambulatory anaesthesia, Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, Pediatric Anesthesiology, neuroanesthesia, obstetrical Anesthesiology and pain management.
Usually the duration of the course is 2 years.

7. What is Radiation Oncologist/ Radiation Therapist?

A radiotherapist / radiation oncologist is a specialist who deals with treatment of cancer patients mainly with the use of different modalities of radiation. The treatment of cancer is a multimodality comprehensive treatment with surgical oncology, radiation oncology and medical oncology being integral part of it.

8. MD Pharmacology
M.D.(Pharmacology)- Stands for Doctor of Medicine in Pharmacology. Typically, M.D.(Pharmacology) is a three years course, minimum eligibility for which is a Bachelor of Pharmacology or any equivalent graduate degree in science. Pharmacology is a particular division of medicine as well as biology that concentrates on the drug action on patients. The students of this course focus on drug composition and properties, toxicology, medical applications and therapy.

9. MD Pathology

 
M.D. Pathology - Stands for Doctor of Medicine in Pathology . Typically, M.D.(Pathology) is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is graduation in science. Pathology is a division of medical science, which deals with effects, development, processes and causes of diseases. Subjects studied under this degree are Pathology, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Genetics and Neuroscience.
